1. The South China Mall. China is known for their huge shopping malls. In the next few years it’s predicted to be home to seven of the world’s ten largest shopping malls. And the South China Mall takes the cake. It’s a mega mall that features both shopping and entertainment.
2. Golden Resources Shopping Mall. Located on the west side of Beijing, this mall opened in 2004 and features 560,000 square meters of shopping space, or in other words 6-million square feet for you Americans.
3. West Edmonton Mall. Located in West Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this mall is roughly 570,000 square meters and features over 800 stores and 8 department stores. It also has over 100 restaurants, numerous hotels and an amusement park. It even has a beach themed swimming pool, an aquarium and a mini golf park. You can find everything here, everything from patio furniture sets to designer duds.
4. The Mall of America. Situated in Bloomington, Minnesota, this mall has about 390,000 square feet of shopping space and is the largest mega mall in the United States. With 520 stores, hundreds of restaurants, an indoor amusement park, a movie theater, several night clubs and an enormous aquarium, you’re sure to find plenty of ways to spend your extra cash.
